Subsea Pipeline Modelling

  • Client: Shell 

  • Location: Gulf of Mexico

  • Project Brief: System level modelling, TRL and risk assessment of HPHT infield pipelines and jumpers. Global lateral buckling and walking analysis of two pipelines using Abaqus FE software package. Delivered advanced simulation ensured the pipelines’ safety, efficiency, and reliability under extreme conditions.

Mechanistic Corrosion Modelling for Pipelines and Jumpers

  • Client: Shell

  • Location: North Sea

  • Project Brief: Developed a proprietary corrosion modelling tool to analyze and predict the corrosion behavior of pipelines and jumpers, particularly focused on high risk areas such as localized degradation and fracture assessment. This tool enables more accurate assessments of pipeline integrity and helps optimize maintenance strategies.

  • Project Brief: Led the development of ammonia fuel cell technology for a major O&G service provider in Japan. Championed the full process from technology design and engineering to deployment, commissioning, and testing. This project aims to advance sustainable energy solutions through innovative fuel cell technology and ammonia as a green energy vector.

Subsea Jumper Detail Engineering

  • Client: Subsea7

  • Location: Egypt

  • Project Brief: For a major oil company in Egypt, we provided detailed engineering, stress analysis, and thermal fatigue design for a subsea jumper connecting with the PLET for a gas export and condensate service. Develop BOD for vertical super duplex stainless steel rigid jumpers. The jumpers involved OneSubsea Vertical Connector and EAB horizontal deep water ROV installable connectors. Our work ensured the system's integrity and performance under harsh operating conditions.
